Jacquelyn Peterson, owner and Senior Consultant, received her BA from California State University
Dominguez Hills, Gardena, CA; an MBA from National University in San Diego, CA; and an MA from Marymount University, Arlington,
VA. Peterson is presently in the Event Management Certificate Program at George Washington University in
Washington, DC. She is a member of the International Special Events Society, The Association of Wedding Professionals,
and The American Business Women's Association. In 1992, Peterson was named in Who's Who's Among Women in Business Internationally.
As a former business advisor and educator, Peterson has years of experience in negotiating, contracting
and event planning. J C Peterson Consulting is a professional consulting firm which offers a variety of services to
its clients, to include business printing and engraving, and a range of travel services through its travel division, J C Peterson
Travel, which holds membership in the Cruise Lines International Association.

Our Employees
In addition to Peterson, there is a staff of three assistants and one administrative
assistant who works on a part time basis.

Our Company
J C Peterson Consulting was founded in 2003 by the senior consultant after she
decided to leave the educational environment. As a professor in the business school for 17 years, Peterson was Director
of the Business Internship and International Programs for the School of Business Administration. Her responsibilities
were to develop business relationships with organizations, both domestic and abroad, and create educational partnerships
and exchange programs for students studying internationally. She developed, planned and coordinated social gatherings
and events to bring together area businesses, government entities and students to facilitate future sponsorship
relationships and job opportunities.
Combining this experience with that of directing weddings for over 25 years, it
was a natural for Peterson to start a full service consulting firm.
